About the role

Associate Director, Corporate Strategy at IlluminaLeading major analytical workstreams and strategy engagements to inform long-term enterprise decisions.
Responsibilities: Structure and translate strategic questions into hypotheses, build and validate comprehensive fact bases, develop and synthesize strategic alternatives, and communicate findings effectively to senior leadership. Collaborate across R&D, Product, Commercial, Finance, and other functions, contributing to enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or related field. 13-15 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in top-tier strategy consulting and 2+ years supporting senior executives with complex workstreams. Proven experience applying AI-enabled strategies. Strong problem-solving, financial modeling, and presentation skills. PreferredMBA or advanced degree. Experience in genomics, life sciences, or healthcare industries. Exposure to inorganic strategy and executive-level analyses. High-ValueStrategic planning in a global, science-driven environment. Cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Travel up to 20%. Hybrid work setup in San Diego, California.
