About the role
- Learn the business, including how a broker’s trading activity turns into revenue for us, working closely with the Head of FP&A.
- Take ownership of the models currently running, and improve them as you learn them.
- Get comfortable in our Snowflake warehouse and the data behind each revenue and cost line.
- Build working relationships with business unit owners and the technology teams. Ongoing
- Break down revenue by client, region, and type across our main income lines, including transaction fees, payment for order flow, and interest income, working toward daily visibility.
- Write and maintain the SQL behind your models, querying Snowflake directly.
- Build and maintain forecasts and the analysis leadership uses to make decisions.
- Support cost analysis and ad hoc requests from senior leadership.
- Automate recurring work and build in checks so the numbers hold up.
- Document your models and processes so others can follow and pick them up.
- 1–2 years of experience as a financial analyst or data analyst.
- Working SQL: comfortable writing queries with joins and aggregations against a data warehouse.
- Strong Excel modeling skills.
- A working understanding of how capital markets operate at a high level, including what brokers, exchanges, and clearing firms do.
- Regular hands-on use of AI tools (such as Claude) for real work deliverables, and a clear sense of what context and checks they need to produce accurate results.
- Based in the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
- Experience with Snowflake specifically.
- Experience with Claude Cowork or Claude Code, including creating Skills, Artifacts, Shared Projects, and context files.
- Experience at a brokerage, clearing firm, or brokerage technology provider. How You Work
- You’re curious about how the business works, not just what the numbers say.
- You think in automation, and you test your work for accuracy.
- You pick up new systems and context quickly.
- You build things others can follow, and you explain them clearly and concisely.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity: you make a reasonable call, and you document why. If you meet most of these, we’d like to hear from you.
- Fully remote, with no office attendance required. Because our clients and colleagues span Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and the U.S., you’ll work outside the typical 9–5 Eastern a few times a week.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance fully paid for you and your spouse.
- 401(k) with a 3% company match.
- 15 days PTO, plus 5 sick days and 5 personal days.
- Performance-based annual bonus.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
