Executive Director -- No Stomach For Cancer, Inc.
Overview: The Executive Director is the key management leader of No Stomach For Cancer, reporting to the Board of Directors. This role is responsible for all aspects of the organization's operations, including administration, program management and development/execution of the strategic plan, strengthening organizational capacity, fundraising growth, financial reporting, marketing and community outreach.
Responsibilities: Leadership, Financial and Strategic Planning Implement organization policies and procedures to ensure efficient, compliance and mission-aligned operations Daily execution of NSFC operations, including banking, database management, and audit support. Lead execution of NSFC programs, overseeing grant review, reporting, and contracting processes with recipients and partner institutions. Assist in the preparation and presentation of the annual budget and quarterly financial statements to the Board of Directors Collaborate with the Board of Directors on strategic planning, contributing to long-term organizational goals and sustainability initiatives Oversee all nonprofit compliance requirements, including annual filings, state charitable registrations, corporate reporting obligations, and other regulatory requirements necessary to maintain compliance with applicable federal and state laws Fundraising and Development Serve as the organization's chief fundraiser, cultivating relationships with current and prospective donors, foundations, and strategic partners Ensure the organization's long-term financial sustainability through diversified revenue streams, including grants, major gifts, individual giving and corporate partnerships Lead and manage fundraising campaigns, overseeing direct-mail, digital, and social media initiatives to expand donor engagement and support Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with other nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups, healthcare institutions, donors, and research partners to increase awareness of stomach cancer, advance shared initiatives, and support efforts to find a cure. Marketing and Community Engagement Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of stomach cancer awareness events, fundraising activities, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives, ensuring successful delivery from concept through post-event evaluation Represent the organization in public forums, conferences, and other events, serving as a visible and credible ambassador for NSFC's mission Manage the NSFC website and social media platforms, collaboration with contractors to maintain timely, accurate and engaging content that reflects organizational priorities Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, caregivers, and families seeking information or support, responding to inquiries received through the organization's website, email, and social media channels with compassion and professionalism.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, social work, or related field (or equivalent experience).At least 5 years prior experience in senior leadership, management, marketing and/or fundraising in a non-profit environment Must be comfortable working across disciplines and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated success in small-budget fundraising, clear public speaking, financial budgeting, and compassionate team leadership. Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, grant writing, and strategic fundraising is essential. The position requires resourcefulness, creative thinking, and a passion for finding a cure for cancer. Some exposure to the science of cancer research and pharmaceuticals is preferred but not required Job Details

Compensation: $60K - $90KBase pay for this role is positioned within the established range and will vary based on factors such as the individual's knowledge, experience, skills, and geographic location. This position is not eligible for benefits.
