About the role
Construction Equipment Sales RepresentativeIn the role of an Equipment Sales Representative for Global Machinery, based out of our Phoenix area office, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships based on trust, a relentless work ethic, and superior customer service. Through these relationships, you will make recommendations, provide demonstrations, and complete rental and sales transactions of specialized construction equipment to contractors, municipalities, utility providers, and other customers.Responsibilities and DutiesAlways represent the company in a professional manner.Play a key role in establishing, and growing, our Phoenix area branch location.Build an extensive network of contacts including customers, contractors, and partners.Execute sales and rental transactions from start to finish.Provide operator training and after-sale support.Increase market share.Build the Global Machinery brand.Work as a team player in all areas related to the business.QualificationsA minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.Direct experience as a construction equipment salesperson is a major plus.Must have a clean driving record. (CDL license preferred)Experience operating construction equipment recommended.Must be self-motivated, organized, and responsive.Required to physically load/unload, operate, and demonstrate equipment.Base salary plus commission on equipment sales and rentals.
