About the role
Bradley Professional is currently seeking an experienced Manager of Inside Sales & Customer Support for our client located in Thomasville, NC.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing two Inside Sales Representatives and one Sales Support Coordinator while supporting outside sales activities and driving sales performance, customer satisfaction, and operational execution. The ideal candidate is a strong sales professional and people leader who enjoys developing a team, building customer relationships, and staying actively involved in the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales and Sales Support team. Establish individual and team sales goals, performance expectations, and accountability. Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for account growth. Build relationships with new customers, fleet organizations, dealers, distributors, and other industry contacts. Support the sales team with customer needs, quotations, pricing, revisions, negotiations, and follow-up. Oversee the sales process from initial inquiry and quotation through purchase orders, change orders, production coordination, and delivery. Monitor open quotes, sales opportunities, lead activity, customer follow-up, and ongoing projects. Ensure customer inquiries and issues are handled promptly and professionally. Work closely with Outside Sales, Operations, Engineering, Transportation, and other departments to ensure customer expectations are met. Maintain accurate customer, order, and sales documentation within ERP and CRM systems. Oversee customer and fleet reporting, order documentation, and project status updates. Establish and monitor sales and customer support KPIs. Review sales reports, forecasts, pipeline activity, and quoting activity to identify trends and opportunities. Provide regular sales and customer updates to executive leadership. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, communication, responsiveness, and the overall customer experience. Promote a positive, accountable, collaborative, and results-driven team environment.
Qualifications:
4–6+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, account management, or customer support. Previous sales leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to coach, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable. Strong customer relationship and account management skills. Experience with quoting, pricing, order management, and customer follow-up. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Experience working with ERP and/or CRM systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn product specifications and customer applications. Experience within truck bodies, commercial vehicles, fleet equipment, heavy equipment, manufacturing, industrial products, or a related industry is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
