General Summary The Spanish Worship Ministry Resident is responsible to assist in worship service planning and development, lead worship in Spanish, English, and bilingual settings for a variety of church events, and contribute to the development and shepherding of volunteers within the Worship Ministry at Christ Fellowship. He will be a passionate leader, building teams of staff and volunteers by engaging, supporting, and equipping them with the intent to build a strong pipeline of leaders and relational disciple-making groups throughout the church. He will lead others, himself, and his family to live according to the church's teaching and practices. He will carry out the church's mission and perform his duties consistent with the church's theological beliefs and standards.
Goals and Expectations Development – 50% Meet monthly with the pastor over the residency to work through required reading and development curriculum alongside other Christ Fellowship ministry residents
Meet weekly with the Spanish Pastor for ministry development and mentorship
Participate in weekly worship at Christ Fellowship, including Spanish Ministry gatherings
Demonstrate active involvement in the life of Christ Fellowship, especially the Young Adult Ministry
Job Responsibilities:
50% Lead vocally or instrumentally in Spanish, English, and bilingual worship settings
Plan and prepare worship sets for Spanish Ministry services and events, selecting Spanish-language and bilingual songs that are theologically sound and singable for the congregation
Serve and develop others in audio, video, lighting, and livestream areas, including recruiting and training Spanish-speaking volunteers
Assist in planning services and scheduling volunteers who serve in worship leadership across church ministries (Spanish Ministry, Kids, Students, special events, etc.)
Contribute positively to the shepherding, care, culture, and development of volunteers
Participate in Planning Center Online (PCO) management and content creation, including Spanish and bilingual lyrics, chord charts, and ProPresenter slides
Help connect the Spanish Ministry with the wider Worship Ministry for joint services and churchwide events
Participate in regular programming and special events at Christ Fellowship
Attend weekly Worship Review meetings, monthly all-staff meetings, and monthly Resident Development meetings
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a future in church ministry
Equivalent combination of religious education and experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Fluency in Spanish and English, both spoken and sung
Familiarity with Spanish-language and bilingual worship repertoire
Desire to enlist, equip, and empower volunteers for ministry
Desire to work collaboratively on a team
Leadership aptitude and experience
Flexible and adaptable
Vision for a disciple-making church
Ability to speak effectively in Spanish and English before groups of volunteers, church members, or staff members of the organization
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Technological aptitude and interest (Microsoft Office/Teams, Google Workspace, Blackmagic Design [BMD], ProPresenter, Planning Center Online [PCO], Ableton/DAW, MultiTracks, etc.)
Worship leadership capability and competence
Licenses, Registrations, and Certificates Current driver's license

Regularly attend weekly worship services and a Young Adult Life Group
Attend new employee orientation, including training on Covenant Membership and disciple-making leaders

Conduct personal life and lead family according to the church's teaching and practices
Acknowledge the policies and procedures stated in the church's Staff Handbook, Safety Handbook, and Financial Handbook
