About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and develop new U.S. Federal Government business opportunities for ServiceNow solutions.
Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and federal contracting channels.
Build and maintain relationships with Federal agencies, government decision-makers, partners, and stakeholders.
Identify opportunities through Federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and government contracting vehicles.
Manage the sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity qualification through proposals and closure.
Understand and position AQL’s ServiceNow offerings, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Managed Services.
Support RFP responses, proposals, presentations, and client discussions.
Collaborate with technical and proposal teams to understand federal requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and work toward quarterly and annual business development targets.
Required Experience3–6 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, IT services sales, or Federal Government sales.
Experience working with U.S. Federal Government agencies, contractors, or government procurement is preferred.
Experience with ServiceNow or IT services sales is preferred.
Basic understanding of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and ServiceNow.
Understanding of Federal RFP/RFI processes and government contracting is a plus.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work with technical and proposal teams and understand customer requirements.
Target-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
