Injection Mold Setup OperatorLocation: Berea, OHShift: 1st Shift | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMPay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour We are seeking an experienced Injection Mold Setup Operator for a manufacturing facility in Berea, OH. This is a 1st-shift opportunity for someone with hands-on plastic injection molding experience who is comfortable setting up equipment, monitoring production, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines
  • Perform mold changes and machine setups for production runs
  • Monitor machines throughout production to ensure efficient operation
  • Troubleshoot molding, machine, and process issues
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality
  • Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure specifications are met
  • Manage and prepare materials used in the molding process
  • Monitor production output and minimize downtime and scrap
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
  • Communicate equipment or production concerns to appropriate team members
Qualifications:
  • Previous plastic injection molding setup/operator experience requiredExperience performing mold changes and machine setups
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to identify and correct common injection molding issues
  • Understanding of manufacturing quality standards
  • Comfortable working independently and keeping production running efficiently
  • Dependable with strong attention to detail
