Box Office Representative (Part-Time) The Florida Panthers are a community focused organization led by an authentic management team that served our country and now serves the South Florida community. The organization is on the rise and is experiencing success both on and off the ice. Led by General Manager Bill Zito, the Panthers are coming off their best season in franchise history, entering the 2024-2025 season as Stanley Cup Champions. Off the ice, the business is experiencing growth across all key metrics and our revenue is at an all-time high. The organization is expanding outside of Amerant Bank Arena via the renovation of the FTL War Memorial in downtown Fort Lauderdale. This state-of-the-art ice facility features two regulation-size rinks, including a new team practice rink with stadium seating, and a 4,000-capacity music theatre for live entertainment. Job Title: Box Office Representative (Part-Time)
Department: Ticket Operations Reports To: Manager, Ticket Operations FLSA: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Part-Time Location: Amerant Bank Arena
Job Summary: Box Office Representative - Responsible for selling tickets, distributing tickets, and providing excellent customer service to Amerant Bank Arena guests. Requires proper handling of cash and credit card transactions. This role requires availability on nights and weekends.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist in processing all concert/event/hockey orders assisting patrons
  • Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures in relation to processing internal, group, and premium sales orders
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients and customers as well as internal staff.
  • Work closely and complete duties as assigned by Management
  • Assist Sales and Service Representatives with questions and troubleshooting ticketing issues
Qualifications:
  • Requires proven customer service abilities, experience with computer processing
  • Experience working with cash and cash handling procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, extensive customer service skills
  • Strong ability to adapt to changes, work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of ticketing software preferred, but not required
Work Environment:
  • This position works in an arena where the noise level is generally high, crowd traffic is heavy, temperatures are variable often cold; lights are bright or dark with occasional exposure to flashing lights and pyrotechnics.
  • Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • This is a Part-Time non-exempt hourly position. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and occasional holidays.
