The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a book of business, with a focus on establishing high-quality search assignments within the healthcare industry. This role requires the development of meaningful, long-term relationships with both existing clients and new prospects, as well as the contribution to marketing and business development strategies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 6-9 years' in sales/business development, preferably in retained executive search, and a proven track record of successful sales results. A strong network of contacts in the healthcare sector is essential, and experience in digital health, academic medicine, employee health benefits, or pharma/PBM industries is a plus. The VP of Business Development at the company will be part of a collaborative and transparent organization that values diversity and inclusion. The role is remote, with the flexibility to be based in any major city in the U.S., and may involve occasional travel to client or prospect sites. The candidate should be a self-directed, proactive individual with exemplary communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
