About the role
Practice Coordinator / Patient Service Representative In this role, you will support the daily operations of a busy specialty medical practice by coordinating front-office processes, assisting patients, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure efficient patient flow. The Practice Coordinator / Patient Service Representative serves as an important point of contact for patients, providers, and clinical staff and supports patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, medical records, payments, and other day-to-day administrative functions.
Pay range:
23.00–25.00+ per hour DOE Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

On-site in Northborough, MA 01532 Employment Type: Temporary Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit; access to Medical, Dental, Vision & more Coordinate daily front-office operations to support efficient patient flow and smooth medical practice operations. Greet, register, and assist patients while accurately collecting and updating demographic, contact, and insurance information. Verify insurance information and maintain accurate patient records within electronic medical systems. Manage patient scheduling, phone calls, messages, paperwork, and other front-desk communication needs. Process patient payments and support accurate reconciliation of cash, charges, and other payment activity. Maintain medical records and support general administrative functions including office documentation, supplies, and routine practice operations. Follow patient privacy, confidentiality, and established healthcare procedures when handling sensitive patient be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to reliably commute to work Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements, which may include a criminal background check and drug test High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office, physician practice, patient access, or similar healthcare setting Experience with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, medical records, or similar front-office functions Strong patient service, communication, and organizational skills Strong computer and data-entry skills with the ability to maintain accurate patient information Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy medical office while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail 3–5 years of medical office or patient service experience Previous experience as a Practice Coordinator, Patient Service Representative, Medical Receptionist, Patient Access Representative, or similar medical office professional Completion of a medical office assistant, healthcare administration, or similar program Healthcare administration or management certification Consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. hours Opportunity to use your medical office experience in a hands-on, patient-facing role 23.00-25.00 per hour DOE with weekly pay and access to benefits
