Job Description: Shipping Loader/Forklift Operator - Night Shift
Location: Lithia Springs, GA
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00/hour $1.00/hour shift diff)
Shift: Monday-Friday 7PM6AM *Hours subject to change based on workload*8-10 hours per dayOT as required by business needs
Position Summary: Shipping Loader/Forklift Operator is responsible for safely handling, inspecting, labeling, and transporting glass materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You Will Be Doing: Handling glass from tables, rolling racks, for eight to twelve hours daily. Following work instructions by reading labels to expedite the production process, understand and communicate paperwork and labels/ picking list.
QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in a production environment (glass industry preferred, but not required)Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels Ability to read and understand basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure Ability to work in all areas of production Ability to lift 75lbs unassisted Ability to lift 150lbs in a team two-person lift Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment Ability to work independently or in a team environmentBENEFITSWeekly pay on Fridays!
