About the role
PROJECT MANAGER – COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTIONCharlotte, NC | In-office & On-site Commercial Interiors | Tenant Improvements | UpfitsMorrow & Associates has been exclusively retained by a leading commercial real estate owner/developer to identify a Project Manager to join its Charlotte team. This individual will manage commercial interior and tenant improvement projects across a large, institutional-quality real estate portfolio. The role will oversee projects from planning and budgeting through construction and closeout, working closely with architects, engineers, general contractors, tenants and internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an APM or PM who is ready to take on greater responsibility on the ownership side and, over time, gain exposure to the broader real estate development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial interiors and TI projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate architects, engineers, GCs and other project partners
- Manage budgets, schedules, bidding and change orders
- Oversee multiple projects throughout the Charlotte market
Ideal Background:
- 5–7 years of commercial construction experience
- APM or PM experience with a GC, owner/developer or owner’s representative
- Commercial interiors and tenant improvement experience
- Strong understanding of construction documents, budgets and schedules
