Technologist We are seeking a dedicated technologist to update patient information in the Athena EMR system, specifically focusing on Outpatient/Ortho/Podiatry, PT, and related cases. The role involves utilizing the Care Flow scheduling system, providing excellent bedside care, explaining procedures to patients, following and clarifying doctor's orders, and scanning necessary information into PACS. The technologist is responsible for maintaining room cleanliness post-exam, obtaining patient information and chart notes for fluoroscopy procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Update patient information in Athena EMR system.
- Utilize the scheduling system - Care Flow.
- Provide good bedside care and explain procedures to patients.
- Clarify and follow doctor's orders, and scan necessary information into PACS.Maintain cleanliness of exam and procedure rooms.
- Obtain patient information and chart notes for fluoroscopy procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
- Perform daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual Quality Control.
- Essential Skills:
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of radiology experience (not just MRI/Ultrasound).Ability to troubleshoot machines or know when to reach out for assistance.
- Accountability, reliability, and punctuality.
- Good bedside manner and ability to handle high volume daily.
- Medical assisting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Athena or other EMR systems is a plus.
- Experience with fluoroscopy is a plus.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerville, NJ.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $47.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
