Your Next Opportunity The Director, Land Development is responsible for the coordination and management of all aspects of land development at multiple communities including conducting due diligence, evaluating site conditions, working with municipalities & reviewing agencies; and overseeing public and private utility contractors, site contractors & landscape contractors. This position also creates the site development budget and provides required internal reporting and documentation. What Does it Take to Be Successful? Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.5 years of experience in land development in the residential home-building industry. Experience with site development and engineering. Experience developing detailed budgets with back-up documentation. Demonstrated experience reading engineering plans. Experience working with multi-disciplined teams. Strong communication skills required to ensure accountability, resolve conflicts and drive results. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and builder software. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to use own vehicle to drive between sites.
