Sales Account Executive, Federal Government DOD Agencies Computer Software Sales Washington DCEXP 5-7 yrs Impact As a Sales Account Executive, you will help customers gain greater competitive advantage and enhanced decision-making abilities through an array of offerings in Communications Management, Customer Analytics, and Location Intelligence. The Job Be responsible for the entire sales process from Prospecting to Close in the shortest possible time Lead generation/outbound calling and warm lead follow up Understand customer's needs and requirements intimately Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and reference-ability Differentiate our solutions and products in a competitive environment Develop and maintain detailed and updated opportunity matrixes, contact plans, for each target account Establish long-term relationship with each prospect and customer so as to maximize future revenue opportunities Close sales and exceed sales quotas Be assertive with optimistic attitude and high energy level
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business (or similar field of study) or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 5 years direct software sales experience selling ERP, CRM, Document Management, Financial Applications or General Application Software (ex. Siebel, People Soft, Epiphany, SAP, Oracle, Computer Associates etc.)A minimum of 5 years of solution selling to Government with average deals in excess of $200,000 including significant license and services components Travel as required to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction Must have minimum of 5 DOD end user references Proven ability to establish strong relationships and conduct Business Development activities with both users and technical buyers Selling through System Integrators and business partner experience Ability to call on senior level military leadership Military experience or prior military association a plus (not required)DOD Top Secret Clearance a plus (not required)
