Adaptability and comfort working in a developing program with evolving workflows and caseload expectations. Plusses:• ICU or surgical nursing experience.• Additional coding certification, such as CCS.• Experience working with Epic and 3M 360/Solventum
Shift:
M-F 9:00am-5:00pm- M/T/W on-site Th/F remote Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Insight Global is seeking an experienced Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS/CDI) to support a healthcare system in Baltimore, MD. When on-site, this individual will work directly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other clinicians in the PACU and surgical areas to support accurate, complete documentation in real time. Responsibilities include locating and engaging providers throughout the unit, discussing cases identified during advance reviews, and listening to relevant clinical exchanges, including timeouts and recovery-phase handoffs. On remote days, the specialist will conduct pre-admission audits of patients scheduled for upcoming surgeries, reviewing cases in advance and preparing them for discussion with physicians when back on-site.
