Job Description The HVAC Service Tech plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Working as part of a small service team, this technician uses manual diagnostic tools to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably. This position requires a hands-on approach with a focus on quality assurance, customer communication, and technical expertise. There is an opportunity for growth through technical specialization, enabling the technician to deepen their skills and advance within the field.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions using manual diagnostic tools
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and solutions
- Test equipment performance and conduct quality assurance checks
- Replace parts as necessary to restore system functionality
- Conduct diagnostic analysis to identify underlying issues
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in HVAC service Technical certification in HVAC or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA Section 608 CertificationHVAC technician license
- Experience with HVAC system diagnostics and electrical systems
- Strong customer service skills
