About the role
Our client, a top-tier Investment Bank, is seeking an Human Resources Coordinator to join its Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with internship experience or approximately one year of relevant experience to gain exposure to HR operations within a fast-paced financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day HR operations and provide administrative support to the Human Resources team
- Maintain and update employee records and HR information in WorkdayAssist with employee onboarding, including preparing documentation, coordinating new hire activities, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
- Support employee data changes, transfers, terminations, and other HR transactions within WorkdayAssist with reporting, data entry, and maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
- Respond to employee questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate HR team members
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and other HR-related activities
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Partner with HR colleagues and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of HR processes
- Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team in a fast-paced, professional environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred 1+ year of HR experience or relevant HR internship experience
- Hands-on Workday experience is required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, polished, and service-oriented approach
- Previous experience in financial services or a professional services environment is a plus
