Supply & Demand Planning Analyst (Temp)Brand: beauty
Employment Type: Freelance Duration 3+ months Location NYCOnsite hybrid Our client in the beauty space is seeking a detail-oriented Supply & Demand Planning Analyst to provide temporary support across demand planning, supply planning, and related supply chain operations. Most work will be performed using Excel, SAP, IBP, and BW. The ideal candidate brings strong Excel and data-management capabilities, a solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals, and the ability to organize, validate, and interpret business data. Experience with Power BI and Power Query is a plus.
Responsibilities: Support SRP organization and data entry, including following up with Marketing and entering pricing into IBP and the master price file. Clean negative forecasts and manage set carryover activities. Refresh the repack file and communicate changes to ZCAT dates. Refresh the sellout forecast alert file and run monthly sellout statistical models in IBP.Refresh the forecast tool at the beginning of each month and provide ongoing demand forecasting support. Update ABC status in SAP and maintain accurate planning data. Assist with managing promotional allocations throughout the season. Clean and maintain historical sales data to support planning analysis. Contribute to planning and supply chain projects by collecting, organizing, and cleansing data. Prepare and distribute the weekly inventory report. Export supply data and complete weekly logistics status checks. Prepare monthly air shipment and outstanding purchase order reports. Track back orders and promotional supply to support timely issue identification and follow-up.
What You’ll Bring: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning, analysis, reporting, and formula-driven workbooks. Strong data-management skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Working knowledge of supply chain, inventory, demand planning, or supply planning concepts. Experience with SAP, IBP, BW, or similar enterprise planning systems is preferred. Experience with Power BI and/or Power Query is a plus. Ability to manage recurring deliverables while adapting to changing priorities and project needs. Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
