As a Distribution & Collection Operator, you'll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. Based in Pembroke Pines, FL, you'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of the collection distribution system on an assigned shift. You'll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to challenges that may arise in municipal facilities. You'll operate and maintain equipment including backhoe, aqua tech, and dump truck; all equipment used in trenchwork, cleaning and clearing sewer lines; install new lines, adjust manhole cover, and frame replacement; repair defective sewer lines; perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance on all equipment; complete work orders and field complaint forms; and perform other duties as required. Qualifications: External Possess a valid Driver's License Experience in maintenance of collections and distributions systems Ideally, You'll Also Have: Possess, or be able to obtain a Class 2 certification in wastewater operations within one year after date of hiring Knowledge of collections and distributions systems and tools, equipment, materials used to maintain and repair system Safe work practices Safety is a core value at Jacobs. The base salary range for this position is $41,200.00 to $58,850.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
