Locums - Flagstaff, Arizona, NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgery Opening Clinical Role Cardiothoracic Surgery locums coverage Hospital-based position Adult and geriatric patient population Approximately 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients per day Approximately 1-2 surgical cases per day Surgeon support Recent Cardiothoracic Surgery experience and proficiency with EVH required Coverage Dates October 24: Orientation, 7:00 am-3:00 pmOctober 25: 7:00 am-7:00 am, 24-hour call October 26-29: 7:00 am-3:00 pm plus overnight beeper call Ongoing Schedule & Call Approximately 4 coverage days per month Day coverage: 7:00 am-3:00 pmCall: 3:00 pm-7:00 amCerner EMRProcedures & Clinical Expectations Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) Temporary pacemaker removal Chest tube removalIABP removal Arterial line placement Requirements & Credentialing Minimum 3 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience with EVH required Arizona license required at submissionDEA requiredACLS and BLS through the American Heart Association required Approximately 30-day credentialing timeframePA RequirementsGraduate of an approved Physician Assistant programNCCPA certified or certification eligible Arizona PA licensure requiredNP RequirementsGraduate of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program Completion of an RN/NP First Assistant program required Current unrestricted Arizona APRN license requiredANCC or AANP certification required What's great about Flagstaff, Arizona?
