About the role
We are looking for a Software Developer to join a team in San Antonio, Texas on a Contract to Permanent basis. This role is ideal for a full stack developer who brings strong experience with .NET technologies, SQL Server, and modern web interfaces, and who enjoys building reliable applications that support critical business operations. The position offers the opportunity to contribute across the full development lifecycle, from technical planning and coding through testing, documentation, and production support.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and enhance full stack applications with a strong emphasis on .NET-based solutions, SQL Server, and user-facing web interfaces.
Investigate complex application issues, identify root causes, and deliver effective fixes to improve system stability and performance.
Participate in technical analysis, solution design, and project planning to support successful delivery of assigned initiatives.
Build, test, and validate application components to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with business needs.
Partner with end users and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, assess system challenges, and recommend practical technical solutions.
Provide clear updates to technology leadership and project teams regarding development progress, issue resolution, and implementation status.
Support production applications through scheduled validation activities, change control documentation, and on-call coverage for assigned systems.
Create and maintain thorough technical documentation, including test evidence, change details, operational procedures, and support materials.
Assist in mentoring and supporting information systems staff by sharing knowledge, training users, and contributing as an active member of project teams.
