Description: The Warehouse Worker will maintain the organization of inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records. The Warehouse Worker provides verification of all incoming shipments, transfers and damaged USDA commodity foods, as well as stock checking, maintenance and control inventory while abiding housekeeping practices of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory procedures, skills in relating with the general public, good physical condition
  • Must have forklift knowledge and obtain a forklift certification within the first twelve (12) months of employment
  • Must become acquainted during the probation period with the operation of the walk-in freezer and cooler
  • Must be physically able to perform maintenance duties including the ability to operate the equipment needed to mow, trim weeds and crush cardboard
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, climb, stand and sit
  • Requires ability to properly lift up to 42 lbs.
  • Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents The Osage Nation
  • Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
  • Requires a high level of problem solving skills
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
  • Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
  • Must have a clean driving record may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
