Senior Financial Analyst (TM1 SuperUser)VARITE is looking for qualified Senior Financial Analyst (TM1 SuperUser) in San Jose, CA.Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst (TM1 SuperUser)Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)Contract Duration: 12 monthsPay Rate Range: $43.00/hr - $48.81/hr on W2Work Authorization: USC or GC onlyHere's What You'll DoA Senior Financial Analyst maintains and optimizes IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 for the Creative and Professionals organization, ensuring data integrity for financial forecasting, and reporting. Key responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional, multi-stakeholder teams through data consolidations for weekly outlooks, quarterly re-forecasts, and both strategic and annual operating plans.The role emphasizes process improvement—particularly through automation—plus master data management, data and process governance, and providing users with effective communication, support, and best practices.Acting as a liaison between IT (BCCD) and C&P Finance Teams, they enhance application performance and streamline forecasting procedures.Additionally, they help teams align, provide financial insights, conduct variance and ad hoc analyses, and serve as the Subject Matter Expert for special projects such as "Save Our Systems" FP&A transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Coordination: Assist the various teams in forecasting processes, data validation, and forecasting workflows.User Support & Training: Provide technical support to finance teams and end-users, including training and custom report creation.Process Improvement: They are the "voice of the customer," collaborate with developers and architects to continually simplify and optimize workflows, automate tasks, and design and develop new capabilities.Data Quality Steward: Establish and implement comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure data completeness and data quality across TM1 forecasting models, data input forms, and consolidation cubes. Oversee the reconciliation of inbound data sources and outbound tools (Jupiter, TRON, etc.) and dashboards.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical:Experience with best of breed planning tools Hyperion Planning or IBM Planning Analytics/TM1.Strong Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), DBRW and Excel. PowerBI skills are a plus.Required Functional skills:Experience with financial reporting, forecasting and consolidation processes.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Qualifications & CompetenciesBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, well-being, and financial security of our employees and their families.
