About the role

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is hiring seasonal Transportation Operations Technicians to support highway maintenance and winter operations in Cambridge. This hands-on role involves repairing guardrails, patching pavement, ditching, clearing brush, and picking up litter. Seasonal staff also help with plowing and salting during winter weather events. Overtime is common during heavy snow, and applicants must meet the minimum qualifications, including CDL Class B.
