Job Title: Associate Marketing Specialist – Brand Partnerships
Location: San Diego, CA (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $36 / hr on W2Duration: (~6 Months, Contract 40 hrs/week)
Position Summary: Seeking an Associate Marketing Specialist to provide day-to-day executional and operational support across active Brand Partnerships portfolio (e.g., Manchester United, NASCAR, Padres). Working alongside Program and Activation Managers, this role is responsible for tracking deliverables, organizing creative assets, preparing meeting materials, and ensuring seamless workflow across sports, entertainment, and event partnership activations.
Key Responsibilities: Partnership Execution: Support day-to-day coordination for active brand and sports sponsorship activations (Manchester United, NASCAR, Padres, etc.).Timeline & Asset Tracking: Maintain project trackers, monitor execution milestones, and coordinate routing/approval of creative assets across social, digital, PR, video, and experiential teams. Meeting & Material Prep: Draft presentation decks, briefs, agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up action items for internal teams, creative agencies, and external partners. Information & File Management: Maintain Brand Partnerships Microsoft Teams and SharePoint channels, shared folders, and status trackers to ensure cross-functional visibility. Workflow Optimization: Utilize AI-enabled productivity tools to assist with drafting, summarization, and workflow efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, PR, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in marketing, sponsorship, sports marketing, event activation, or agency coordination (relevant internships considered).Core Skills: Strong project tracking, written/verbal communication, and high attention to detail while managing multiple workstreams. Technical Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint); familiarity with AI productivity tools for drafting/summarization.
