About the role
To drive operational excellence in refining, the full-time salaried Assistant Director of Refinery Operations will provide leadership in downstream refining processes, lead digital transformation initiatives, and engage with clients to develop strategic solutions, preferably working remotely from Texas, Ohio, Louisiana, or other specified locations.
Key responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert in refinery operations, advising on production optimization and operational assessments
Lead discussions on digital transformation strategies, enabling the adoption of advanced technologies in refining operations
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, understanding their priorities and developing value-driven solutions
Required qualifications
Experience in downstream refining, manufacturing, or energy operations
Proven experience in leading digital transformation programs within industrial or manufacturing environments
Working knowledge of manufacturing technologies, MES platforms, and industrial automation
Demonstrated ability to engage with executive and C-level stakeholders
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
