Position Summary: We are seeking a Laser Burn Operator Helper for our client located in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will assist Laser operator & perform entry level or repetitive machine operation duties. Employee will work in extreme Heat & Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes and Metallic Particles. Employee will be exposed to the hazards of working with heavy machinery. Employee is required to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toed boots with metatarsal and hearing protection. Responsibilities: Operate horizontal and vertical band saws to cut metal materials to specified dimensions. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measuring instruments. Set up saw equipment and adjust cutting parameters as needed. Measure and verify material dimensions before and after cutting. Inspect finished materials to ensure quality standards are met. Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment when authorized. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
