About the role
Senior Data Engineer | Miami | Enterprise Data PlatformI’m hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help build and operate a scalable enterprise data platform within a growing financial services organization. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own data pipelines, modelling, transformations, data quality and operational monitoring, while partnering closely with Analytics, Operations and business teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data models and workflows
- Develop the enterprise data layer supporting analytics, reporting and data science
- Build automated data solutions using SQL, Python and dbt
- Establish data quality, validation, reconciliation and monitoring frameworks
- Improve data lineage, metadata management and documentation
- Translate complex business requirements into reliable data solutions
- Help establish engineering standards across testing and data operations
- What I’m looking for 6+ years of Data Engineering, Data Platform or Analytics Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on SQL, Python and dbt
- Experience building enterprise-grade data platforms
- Strong ETL/ELT and data modelling experience
- Experience with data quality, reconciliation and monitoring
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Financial Services, Wealth Management or FinTech experience is a strong plus
This is ideal for someone who wants to remain technically hands-on while having real ownership over how enterprise data is structured, governed and delivered.
