About the role
Albemarle is hiring a Senior Mining Engineer for the Kings Mountain Lithium Project in North Carolina. The role is on-site and reports to the Lead Mining Engineer.
You will perform mining engineering support through study phases, operational readiness, and project execution, transitioning as required. Key activities include pit optimization, mine design, drill and blast design, production scheduling, cost estimation (CAPEX/OPEX), and collaboration with geotechnical, environmental, and processing
