About the role
Know how to turn great customer relationships into growth? Keep reading. Brown Equipment Company is growing, and we're looking for a leader who can help us expand the reach—and impact—of our Parts & Service Sales and Mobile Service teams across multiple states. This is not a traditional service operations role. You won't be running our service centers or managing their day-to-day operations. Instead, you'll lead our PSSRs and Mobile Service Technicians, build stronger customer relationships, identify opportunities to grow aftermarket parts and service revenue, and help us expand these teams into new markets. If you know the heavy equipment business, understand what great field support looks like, and get energized by developing people, growing markets and creating opportunities—we should talk.
What You'll Do:
You'll lead the teams that take BEC's parts and service capabilities directly to our customers—and you'll have the opportunity to help shape what that looks like as we grow. Lead, coach and develop our PSSRs and Mobile Service Technicians across multiple states and territories. Drive profitable parts and service sales growth by helping our PSSRs identify opportunities, strengthen relationships and become trusted resources for our customers. Spend time in the field with team members and customers—you'll know what's happening because you'll be there. Help expand our PSSR coverage and Mobile Service capabilities into additional markets. Establish clear expectations, consistent sales processes and meaningful performance measures across territories. Develop and strengthen our Mobile Service model, including coverage, response times, scheduling and customer communication. Make sure our Mobile Service Technicians have the training, equipment and support they need to succeed independently in the field. Maintain strong relationships with key customers and help resolve escalated field service or parts/service sales concerns. Use revenue, margin, utilization and other performance data to spot opportunities and make smart recommendations about territory coverage, staffing and resources. Partner closely with Service Center leadership, Equipment Consultants and executive leadership so that growth opportunities align with our ability to deliver for the customer. Look for ways to make us better—better processes, better customer experiences, better collaboration and better results. Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you: Have 7+ years of experience in service sales, field service, aftermarket or a related area. Have successfully led teams across multiple locations and/or states. Understand aftermarket parts and service and know how to uncover opportunities without turning every customer conversation into a sales pitch. Know how to coach people, set expectations and hold teams accountable while still building trust. Are comfortable using data and financial metrics to make decisions and drive profitable growth. Have experience in heavy equipment, construction, industrial or a related industry—strongly preferred. Are comfortable working with ERP and CRM systems. Don't need to be sitting in an office to feel productive. A bachelor's degree is preferred, butwe value relevant experience, too. One More Thing: This Role Travels. A Lot.
This is a high-travel position—approximately 80%. This role is built around being where the action is—alongside your team, at BEC locations and in front of customers. Why BEC?
We're growing—and we're not finished. As our footprint expands, so does the opportunity to grow our aftermarket business, strengthen Mobile Service and expand our PSSR presence. We're not looking for someone who wants to inherit a playbook and keep it running. We're looking for someone who wants to help write the next few chapters. Bring your experience. Bring your ideas. Develop great people. Earn the trust of our customers. And help us build something even stronger. Sound like your kind of challenge? Let's talk
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
