About the role
Document Control Specialist IIThe position supports the management of controlled documents throughout their lifecycle. This role works with document owners, authors, and subject matter experts to maintain accurate, current documentation and ensure compliance with established document management standards. Responsibilities include coordinating document reviews, managing approvals, maintaining version control, assigning document numbers, and supporting document publication, archival, and cancellation activities. The position maintains document repositories, tracks review schedules, monitors document status, and supports audit readiness by maintaining complete documentation records. The role communicates review requirements and deadlines, responds to document related requests, and provides guidance on document management processes and standards. The position also partners with stakeholders to develop and update standard operating procedures, process maps, job aids, and related documentation. This includes facilitating working sessions, gathering input from stakeholders, incorporating feedback, and ensuring documents align with approved processes and organizational requirements. Qualified candidates should have experience in process documentation or a related field. Strong organizational, communication and facilitation are required, along with proficiency in Visio and Microsoft Office. Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities is preferred.
