About the role

We are seeking a precise, patient-focused Cardiac CT Technologist to join a premier, growing cardiology clinic in the Lynnwood area. In this role, you will operate advanced diagnostic imaging technology (GE equipment) to capture high-resolution cardiovascular and general body CT scans essential for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment planning. Working alongside a close-knit, collaborative team—including an onsite Physician, Nurse Practitioner, and Nuclear Medicine/CT Tech—you will play a vital role in high-volume patient care in an efficient, outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnostic Imaging: Perform high-resolution Cardiac CT scans and general body CT imaging following established clinical protocols. Workflow & Volume: Efficiently manage daily scan schedules, conducting 20- to 30-minute scan turnarounds averaging 14–20 CTs on busy days. Equipment & Protocol Calibration: Calibrate and adjust GE scanner parameters (milliamperage, exposure time, slice thickness, scan fields) to ensure optimal image resolution. Patient Care & IV Access: Review medical histories, interview patients, explain procedures, and establish IV access for contrast media administration per physician orders and clinic policy. PACS & EMR Systems: Route completed scans to reading cardiologists via PACS/visualization software and maintain documentation within the Athena EMR system. Safety & Maintenance: Perform daily quality assurance/quality control checks, maintain equipment, adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program with formal training in Computed Tomography.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CT experience, with dedicated, strong experience in Cardiac CT imaging (No new grads).Licensure & Certifications: Active ARRT (CT) credential. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
  • Direct experience with GE imaging equipment (e.g., GE Omnipaq).Experience using Athena EMR and PACS systems.
  • Dual experience or background spanning both Cardiac CT and Nuclear Cardiology.

Shift / Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week). No nights, no weekends, and no call!
Pay Range: $65.00 – $85.00 / hour (commensurate with experience) - 20+ years of experience is reserved for top pay range!
Location: Lynnwood AreaTeam Culture: Small, relaxed, professional, and task-focused environment treating primarily adult cardiology patients (ages 40–50+).
