Job Description:
Job Description We are seeking a Commercial Journeyman Electrician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems while ensuring all work meets the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
Responsibilities:
Install electrical wiring, conduits, panels, switches, and fixtures in commercial buildings.
Diagnose system failures, faulty wiring, and circuit breakdowns using multimeters, voltmeters, and other testing devices.
Repair or replace damaged electrical components and perform routine maintenance inspections.
Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and architectural plans to map electrical layouts.
Ensure completed work complies with the NEC and applicable local building regulations.
Required Qualifications:
At least 6 years of commercial electrical experience.
Valid electrical license as a Journeyman Electrician or other licensed electrical professional.
High school diploma and completion of a 4- to 5-year electrical apprenticeship program, or approximately 8,000 hours of on-the-job training.
Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, lift equipment weighing over 50 pounds, and work in varied weather conditions.
