Sales Assistant (Onsite- 5 Days a Week)Ground Up is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our Sales team and the retail and brand partners we serve. Working closely with Sales and cross-functional teams, you will keep accounts running smoothly, from partner onboarding and item setup to order management and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
Partner Support & Onboarding Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for retail and brand partner inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution. Support the Sales team and cross-functional teams in building strong partner relationships by understanding each partner's needs, objectives, and operational requirements. Assist with onboarding new retail partners and brand programs, including account setup, item creation, and order flow. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth partner launches and ongoing support. Order & Account Management Create and maintain item setups, purchase orders (POs), and sales orders in internal systems. Submit, track, and revise sales orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time execution. Manage open PO and oversold reports, flagging issues to the Sales team as they arise. Operational & Administrative Support Support sales operations to ensure seamless execution across accounts. Assist with preparing partner-facing materials, reports, and presentations. Monitor timelines and deliverables across accounts to keep partner programs on track. Reporting, Systems & Sales Support Maintain accurate partner records, documentation, and activity in internal systems. Track key partner metrics and operational KPIs. Prepare partner-facing materials, reports, and presentations. Identify process improvements that strengthen the partner experience and operational efficiency. Market & Product Knowledge Develop working knowledge of product offerings, including categories, seasonality, costing, and assortments. Stay informed on industry trends and partner needs to proactively support success initiatives. Training & Professional Development Participate in onboarding, training programs, and professional development opportunities. Seek feedback and collaborate with team members to continuously improve performance and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.2+ years of experience in partner support, account coordination, customer success, or sales operations. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting wholesale retail partners in footwear, fashion, or consumer goods. Experience supporting multiple brands or licensed programs. Service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail. Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn and grow.
