Tynes Consulting Services (TCS), LLC is a Women-Owned Small Business providing project management services and technical assistance to medical societies, associations, federal health agencies, and other healthcare organizations.
Position Summary:
Tynes Consulting Services, LLC is seeking a professional healthcare project manager to work closely with the Senior Executive Project Manager/CEO to manage projects across various medical associations and other healthcare organizations. Experience managing physician-led committees and workgroups; familiarity with the grant submission process. Ability to own a project from beginning to end and take initiative is key for this role. TCS works with several clients, and project managers are assigned to specific projects/clients based on their skills and experience. This is a part-time remote contractor (1099) position with flexible hours, averaging 10-15 hours per week. The hourly rate ($65-$70) will be discussed and will be commensurate with experience. Must be available during regular business hours (some of the work can be completed on weekends/evenings, but it is not required). Must be available for meetings via Microsoft Teams and Zoom. This is not for the person who already has a full-time job. Candidate must possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; be highly detail-oriented, creative, resourceful, solution-driven, and able to handle pressure; and be able to take initiative. Must be confident and comfortable interacting and communicating with the senior leadership team, executives, and physician leaders. Candidate must have at least 5-10+ years of experience in a professional environment & possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree. Background in healthcare is a plus. Project management experience preferred. Must be very responsive to emails. Skills• Proficient in MS Office • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Experienced and comfortable using Zoom (video on), Doodle polls, Microsoft Teams, Survey Monkey, Share Point, Box, Smartsheet, Asana, End Note (or other reference management software), and other project management software tools Capabilities• Proactive, professional attitude, quick learner, able to receive and give instructions. • Ability to balance multiple assignments and follow standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.• Highly adaptable and flexible, with the ability to pivot quickly and think critically to address challenges and opportunities.• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment to solve problems.
