About the Role: We're seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant to join our team at our Boca Raton office. This is a full-time in-office position. You'll manage the documentation and administrative processes that keep our clients' cases moving, from requesting and organizing records to preparing discovery authorizations and resolving health insurance liens through settlement. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Request records for cases and conduct diligent follow-up to ensure timely receipt
  • Receive, organize, and manage documents for the legal team
  • Prepare authorizations for opposing counsel during discovery
  • Manage health insurance liens through the settlement process
  • Multitask across multiple cases, prioritizing responsibilities and deadlines effectively
  • What You Bring 2-5 years of relevant experience, including handling health insurance liens and requesting records for cases
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Previous experience in a personal injury law office preferred
