This lead role is pivotal within an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment, with a primary focus on analyzing business and technical specifications to define and execute test cases, as well as capturing and tracking defects. The successful candidate will also be involved in assisting with SCRUM activities and is expected to demonstrate a leadership role in SQA, providing guidance to team members and resolving complex issues. Collaboration with the Kanban/Agile team, reporting and tracking defects, and ensuring the application of proper procedures and controls in the software testing process are key responsibilities. Applicants for the Software Quality Assurance Lead position at the company should be detail-oriented and have a minimum of 5 years' SQA experience, or a strong background in Custody operational processing with a keen interest in SQA. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with Jira experience being preferable. The role demands strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to understand complex concepts, and a proactive approach to work. The ideal candidate will be adept at multi-tasking, taking the initiative, and fostering strong relationships within the software development lifecycle. A thorough understanding of leading IT technologies and the software development lifecycle for application testing is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
