About the role

This role partners across Technology, Finance, and Procurement to deliver data-driven insights, business cases, and executive-level reporting that influence technology spend, vendor strategy, and portfolio priorities. This is a long term contract that is hybrid 3 days per week in Downtown Chicago Key Responsibilities: Analyze technology investments, budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures. Build financial models and business cases for technology initiatives and vendor decisions. Develop executive presentations and reports on technology usage, demand, costs, and strategic opportunities. Leverage Power BI, SQL, Excel, and other analytics tools to provide actionable insights. Partner with Technology, Finance, and Procurement teams to drive productivity, automation, and cost optimization initiatives. Lead ad hoc analyses and special projects supporting technology leadership.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, business consulting, strategic analysis, or management reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills. Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles. Pay around $40-45/hr
