Job Description: POSITION TITLE:HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCES
REPORTS TO:
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGERSUMMARY OF POSITION:
Support the efficient operation of the Department of Human Resources and will provide direct support to the Human Resources Staff. Compile and keep personnel records. Compile and type reports from employment records. File employment records. Search employee files and furnish information to authorized persons.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Provides support for HR Manager and staff
Responsible for the processing and maintenance of confidential material and sensitive matters.
Leads the recruiting efforts including processing applications and resumes, making contact with candidates, interviewing, processing job offers and onboarding of new hires
Scans employee paperwork (contract, resignation letters, orientation paperwork, etc.) into ADP HRIS system.
Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, processing invoices and sorting incoming mail
Tracks daily employee attendance and distributes counseling forms
Performs other duties as assigned, to include special projects.
Provide backup help for different clerical roles when other administrative employees are absent

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
High School Diploma required. Degree in Human Resources preferred
A minimum of 1 year of human resources experience preferred but not required
Ability to handle highly sensitive matters and maintain confidentially
Ability to build and foster relationship with all levels of management, employees and peers
Detail-oriented team player with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment. Should be able to anticipate the needs of the team and act accordingly
Self- motivated, organized and able to work independently on multiple projects
Excellent customer service orientation
Excellent verbal, written communications skills
Strong computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
