Job Description
Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Read Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols. Material Prep: Cut, shear, grind, and bend metal stock using Eagle/Ercolina benders, saws, brakes, or plasma cutters. Fit-Up and Tack: Align and clamp parts together before final welding. TIG Welding: Execute precise, high-quality TIG welds on aluminum in various positions. Finish Work: Grind, polish, and clean welded joints to meet product standards. Quality Check: Inspect finished work using tape measures, calipers, or visual checks.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: Proven history in aluminum fabrication and TIG welding.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency with TIG equipment, hand tools, and shop machinery (grinders, saws).
Certifications:
AWS or relevant welding certifications are a strong plus. Physical Ability: Able to stand for long periods, crouch, and lift heavy metal pieces.
