Job Description:
We are looking for dependable Inventory Clerks to support a short-term Contract assignment in Midland, Texas within the Oil & Gas industry. In this role, you will help prepare a new office space by organizing and staging technology equipment before employees move in, ensuring workstations are ready for use. This opportunity is well suited for individuals who are comfortable handling electronic devices, staying organized, and working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare incoming IT hardware for deployment by unpacking, sorting, and arranging equipment for office readiness
- Organize monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and related accessories to maintain accurate staging and easy access
- Support workstation assembly by placing equipment at designated desks and connecting basic components as directed
- Check setups for completeness and confirm that assigned equipment is positioned correctly before employee move-inTrack inventory movement and maintain orderly storage of devices, cables, and peripherals throughout the project
- Assist with general move-related technology preparation tasks to help the team meet relocation timelines
- Ability to safely handle computer equipment, monitors, and other office technology
- Experience with inventory tracking, asset handling, or equipment organization is preferred
- Comfort working in a physically active, fast-paced environment during a time-sensitive project
- Basic familiarity with office hardware such as docking stations, monitors, and peripherals
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow setup instructions accurately
- Dependable attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
