Job Description: Job Description Tired of the "corporate" scene? Want a certain amount of flexibility? If so, this opportunity is for you! We are a Private Fleet company operating it's own 4 bay auto/diesel shop to repair and maintain tractors, trucks and vans. We are looking for diesel mechanics. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various diesel and gasoline vehicles as well as minor dry van trailer repairs. We offer a Monday - Friday position for great work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
  • Repair vans, trucks, trailers, and tractors
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance
  • Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
  • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the fleet
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a diesel/auto mechanic
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Certified in brake adjustment
  • Must have your own tools
  • Good DMV record CDL A is a plus
  • Have a great work ethic and be able to work alone or as part of the team
  • Able to pass a drug test and background check
  • Salary based on experience.
