About the role

The Sales Coordinator Trainer is responsible for training RTIS employees on several business activities and procedures. In addition, they assist producers with day-to-day functions to obtain the best fit of coverage for our insured customers. This role provides business expertise with insurance knowledge and coordination of training to support the growth of the department. Essential Job Functions Coordinates the access for new and/or current employees' programs. Provides support for users on business systems. Supports Operations Manager with the training of new and/or current employees and ensures employees are prepared to successfully take on their role. Assists General Manager and Operations Manager with documentation approvals for exception requests. Updates and revises written materials and programs to track and report on employee training. Conducts the lead's report for Central Analysis Bureau report (CAB) and Insurance Carriers grading systems. Maintains training reports, procedures, and assists producers with any part of the process. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum 3 years' experience with insurance, commercial insurance or management; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. P&C License required or the ability to obtain the license in 90 days. Relevant training and/or certificates for knowledge of Sales procedures preferred. Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the companys insurance carrier. Other Skills and Abilities Required Available by phone before and after hours to all departments for questions and issues. Ability to complete any additional Sales Coordinator duties assigned. Experience using software such as Applied EPIC, Microsoft, etc. Writing skills and documentation processes skills. Understands business processes, problems, and issues and research/proposes alternatives and/or solutions. Provides support for all RTIS Managers, on business systems and proper business procedures. Ability to multitask under pressure. Willingness to learn and adaptability. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. May assist General Manager in daily procedures when needed.
