About the role
Customer Service/Data EntryNyco Products is growing, and our Customer Service team plays a central role in the customer experience. In this position, you will support customers and the Sales team by entering customer information and orders into company systems, responding to inquiries, and following up on shipments and invoices. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; additional duties may be assigned: Assists customers with questions and concerns regarding orders. Enters orders received and follows up with customers on unit pricing and anticipated ship dates. Verifies inventory availability when entering orders and coordinates with Manufacturing and Purchasing to ensure that inventory is available for placed orders. Maintains customer pricing schedules in accordance with approved product bids. Assists customers with returns and generates return authorization forms for shipping team. Forges and maintain relationships with customers by keeping them informed of potential issues, as well as new products and current promotions. Works with computer programs including Microsoft Office products, Inventory and Manufacturing software such as Southware, and is comfortable learning new software when necessary. Other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate is proactive, self-sufficient, and able to manage multiple daily priorities within established timelines. Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical ability, and business judgment are essential for understanding how customer-service decisions affect the broader business. This is an in-office position. Remote or Hybrid schedules are not currently offered. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. A degree or certification from a college or technical school is highly desirable. This position requires at least two years of relevant experience in customer service and data entry.
