Aircraft Electrical Technician The Aircraft Electrician will be responsible for performing avionics troubleshooting, installations, repairs, maintenance, and modifications to the avionics and electrical systems for F/A-18 aircraft. This includes upgrades to Radar Package, Communications/Comm Sec equipment, and potentially other system enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Conduct avionics troubleshooting and repair for F/A-18 aircraft. Install and maintain avionics and electrical systems. Perform modifications and upgrades to Radar Package and Communications equipment. Execute maintenance and repair tasks according to operational level maintenance standards.
Essential Skills:
4 - 7 years of depot/heavy maintenance experience on aircraft electrical systems, preferably on fighter jets. Proficiency in troubleshooting, fiber optic installation, and aviation systems. Experience with F/A-18 aircraft, particularly the Super Hornet models. Familiarity with Navy Ratings of AE or AT.Eligible for SECRET clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Work Environment:
The role requires flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd shift. The work will primarily be conducted in a hangar and occasionally on the flightline. The hangar is non-climate controlled, but most tasks will be performed indoors, not exposed to the elements. Job Type &

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
