Electrical Panel Assembly Technician

What You Will Do: Lay out and mount switches, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, PLCs, and terminal blocks in panels and enclosures. Route, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires according to electrical schematics and point-to-point wiring diagrams. Measure, drill, tap, and cut enclosures and back panels for component finished panels for wiring accuracy, component placement, and structural integrity before testing. Apply wire markers, component tags, and terminal labels according to engineering the work area organized and follow site safety and personal protective equipment requirements. One to three years of electrical panel building, electromechanical assembly, or related electrical trade experience. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and bills of using wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, drills, taps, and similar tools. Attention to wire routing, color coding, and component placement. Ability to stand for extended periods, safely lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks requiring fine motor skills.
