About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Consultant with 7+ years of analytics experience and a strong background in banking or financial services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data visualization, dashboard development, SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric, along with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
This role will be responsible for translating business and financial requirements into actionable analytics solutions, developing executive-ready dashboards, and partnering with business and technology teams to deliver data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using best practices for data visualization and analytics.
Leverage Microsoft Fabric and related analytics capabilities to support scalable reporting and data solutions.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics, reporting, and data validation.
Translate business requirements into meaningful analytics, dashboards, and actionable insights.
Partner with banking and financial-services stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective analytics solutions.
Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with data, technology, and business teams throughout the analytics development lifecycle.
Ensure dashboards and reporting solutions are accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of professional experience in analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
Strong experience within banking, financial services, or financial institutions.
Advanced Power BI dashboard and report development skills.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern analytics platforms.
Strong SQL skills, including querying, data analysis, and data validation.
Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to translate complex business requirements and data into clear, actionable insights.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
Other relevant Microsoft data, analytics, or business intelligence certifications
