About the role
- Manage the full lease administration process, from drafting through execution, including amendments, extensions, assignments, consents, estoppels, and SNDAsNegotiate small-shop leases and ancillary documents within established company parameters
- Oversee tenant improvement allowance review, approval, and disbursement
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, and construction loan closings from due diligence through post-closing
- Administer contracts for development and construction agreements
- Manage corporate governance, entity formation, and annual compliance filings
- Review title commitments, surveys, and related due diligence materials, and coordinate platting and easement matters
- Partner closely with the Chief Legal Officer and collaborate regularly with Leasing, Development/Construction, Property Management, and Accounting/Finance
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in commercial real estate as a senior paralegal, lease administrator, or similar professional
- Strong background in leasing, loan closings, title/survey work, and corporate governance
- Notary commission, or willingness to obtain one promptly
- In-house experience with a developer, owner, or property management company preferred
- Familiarity with retail shopping centers and Florida/North Carolina real estate practices a plus
- On-site in Deerfield Beach, five days a week.
